Blockchain/Hyperledger Engineer

You will work with development of software backends and architectures, development of RESTful APIs and microservices as part of an agile software engineering team (In Lisbon and in collaboration with Data Lab in Germany). Also, you will work with continuous integration and ownership of the backend and APIs developed within the team, continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new web frameworks, technologies and tools to maximize development efficiency.

• Knowledge of the Blockchain frameworks such as Ethereum or Hyperledger.
• Knowledge of programming languages for an active testing of the results.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar qualification and relevant work experience.
• Must have strong skills in a modern language and framework combination such as Java/Spring.
• Strong skills in a SQL technology, such as Postgres, MySQL or similar.
• Experience working using agile methods such as SCRUM or Kanban.
• Experience working with version control tools such as Git.
• Engagement to learn and use new technologies and frameworks.
• Motivation to answer questions and ask new questions.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other team members.
• Experience building web/mobile back-ends and APIs.
• Experience in rapid prototyping.
• Experience with container platforms such as Docker.
• Knowledge of NoSQL technologies.
• Experience with continuous integration practices and tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience working in mixed teams with frontend developers and designers.
• A portfolio of work such as a Github account or references.
